It has been a pretty amazing few weeks here at Hubba. After revealing our $11M funding round and hiring Johnathan Nightingale as our first Chief Product Officer, it is nice to be back so soon reporting on other Hubba news.
I am very pleased to announce that Saul Colt is joining us as Director of Non-traditional marketing. For those of you who know Hubba, you know that we are definitely non-traditional. For those of you who know Saul, the term non-traditional doesn’t even do him justice.
As one of North America’s best word of mouth marketers (and smartest man on the internet), Saul has helped grow user communities for Freshbooks, Zipcar, Xero and many others.
Saul pushes limits. He is sometimes brash, sometimes bold and sometimes controversial…but he is never boring.
We have the start of a pretty special community on the Hubba network. Saul’s job is to make the experience better for existing users and introduce us to a whole world of new users. He will be instrumental in spreading the gospel of Hubba while working closely with the product team to launch new facets of the platform.
My job is to pool together the smartest, talented and most amazing people to help us build this huge vision we have. Saul is yet another piece to the puzzle and I am excited for him to join the existing team of unbelievable folks.
