While smart watches gain momentum across the industry, analogue watches continue to trend as classic styling is mixed with contemporary looks. Nato straps give classic watches a casual preppy feel while minimalist faces with a unisex feel are styled with stacked bracelets.

As mentioned in the Womenswear Apparel and Accessories AW16/17 Buyers Checklist, hair accessories are increasingly being considered as jewels. Styled in sets, they work well by creating a more-is-more look. A bower bird attitude towards sets and collectables makes badges and pins an emerging must-have accessories item. Gem-set and pavé-stoned brooches add a feminine contrast to otherwise youthful and random motifs that are scattered over shirts, jackets and collars. Abstract motifs are also key when it comes to oversized brooches and pins, adding contrast to more tailored looks.
